RefLogix Community Guidelines

Clear terms, careful data practices, and a professional standard.

Effective Date: August 10, 2026
Last Updated: August 10, 2026

RefLogix is built for sports officials and is intended to support professional, respectful, and useful interaction among the people who work the game.

These Community Guidelines apply whenever you use RefLogix features that allow information to be shared with, viewed by, or associated with another person, including assignment sharing, crew information, shared notes, venue information, invitations, and any future community or collaboration features.

They supplement the RefLogix Terms of Use.

1. Act Like a Professional

RefLogix is a professional officiating platform.

Treat other officials, assigners, supervisors, administrators, coaches, athletes, and organizations with the same professionalism expected on and around the field.

Disagreement is allowed.

Harassment is not.

2. Respect Other People

Do not use RefLogix to:

  • Harass or threaten another person
  • Bully or intimidate
  • Target someone with repeated unwanted contact
  • Use hateful or discriminatory attacks
  • Encourage violence
  • Sexually harass another person
  • Humiliate or deliberately expose someone
  • Retaliate against someone for reporting a concern

Criticism of a call, mechanic, situation, philosophy, or professional decision should remain focused on the issue rather than becoming a personal attack.

3. Protect Private Information

Do not post, upload, or share another person's sensitive information without authorization.

This includes information such as:

  • Home addresses
  • Personal financial information
  • Tax records
  • Account credentials
  • Private phone numbers or email addresses obtained for an unrelated purpose
  • Medical information
  • Disciplinary records
  • Private evaluations
  • Authentication codes
  • Government identification
  • Banking or payment-card information

Never share another user's RefLogix password or authentication information.

4. Use Crew and Official Information Responsibly

RefLogix may allow you to maintain professional contact information for officials you work with.

Use that information for legitimate officiating-related purposes.

Do not use RefLogix to build unauthorized marketing lists, scrape contact information, sell contact data, or distribute another person's information outside its legitimate professional context.

5. Share Assignments Carefully

Assignment information can include details that organizations or officials do not intend to make public.

Before sharing an assignment:

  • Confirm the recipient is appropriate
  • Review what you are sharing
  • Avoid distributing restricted or confidential information
  • Follow applicable association, conference, league, school, or employer policies

A RefLogix sharing feature does not give you permission to disclose information you are otherwise required to keep confidential.

6. Keep Notes Professional

Game notes, crew notes, journal entries, and shared observations should support professional reflection and useful recordkeeping.

Do not use notes to publish:

  • Defamatory accusations
  • Personal attacks
  • Rumors presented as facts
  • Confidential personnel information
  • Discriminatory comments
  • Threats
  • Private information unrelated to a legitimate officiating purpose

Private notes should still be written with the understanding that information can sometimes be disclosed through legal process, account access, user error, or other circumstances.

7. Do Not Impersonate Others

Do not falsely present yourself as:

  • Another official
  • An assigner
  • A conference or association representative
  • A school or league
  • RefLogix staff
  • 3C's, LLC
  • Any other person or organization

Do not create deceptive profiles, records, or communications intended to mislead another person about your identity or authority.

8. No Fraud or Falsified Records

Do not use RefLogix to knowingly create or distribute fraudulent records.

This includes intentionally falsifying:

  • Assignments
  • Payment records
  • Mileage
  • Expenses
  • Receipts
  • Reimbursements
  • Certifications
  • Tax records
  • Professional history

RefLogix is a recordkeeping tool. Users are responsible for the truthfulness of the records they enter.

9. Respect Intellectual Property and Confidential Materials

Do not upload or distribute material you do not have the right to use.

This may include copyrighted manuals, proprietary training materials, confidential evaluation documents, restricted game film, copyrighted publications, or another organization's protected materials.

A document being available to you does not necessarily mean you have permission to redistribute it.

10. No Spam, Scams, or Commercial Abuse

Do not use RefLogix sharing or communication capabilities for:

  • Spam
  • Unsolicited bulk marketing
  • Phishing
  • Fraudulent solicitations
  • Pyramid schemes
  • Deceptive offers
  • Malicious links
  • Credential theft
  • Unrelated commercial promotion

11. Protect the Platform

Do not attempt to:

  • Bypass access controls
  • Discover or exploit another user's data
  • Abuse share links
  • Circumvent rate limits
  • Introduce malware
  • Probe production systems without authorization
  • Scrape user information
  • Disrupt the Service

If you believe you found a security issue, do not exploit it against other users.

Report it to:

info@reflogix.com

12. RefLogix Is Not an Official Rules Authority

Information shared by another user through RefLogix should not automatically be treated as an official ruling, interpretation, directive, assignment, evaluation, or policy of a governing organization.

When jurisdiction, rules code, association policy, or assignment authority matters, confirm the information with the appropriate official source.

13. Reporting a Concern

If you believe content or conduct on RefLogix violates these Guidelines, contact:

info@reflogix.com

Include enough information for us to understand the concern, but do not email passwords, authentication codes, full payment-card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive information.

14. Enforcement

Depending on the seriousness and context of a violation, RefLogix may take action such as:

  • Warning the user
  • Removing or restricting shared content
  • Limiting sharing or collaboration features
  • Requiring corrective action
  • Temporarily restricting an account
  • Suspending an account
  • Terminating access
  • Preserving relevant evidence
  • Referring suspected illegal conduct to appropriate authorities when required or appropriate

We may take immediate protective action where account security, user safety, fraud, or serious misuse is involved.

15. Appeals

If RefLogix takes an account-level enforcement action and you believe it was made in error, you may request review by emailing:

info@reflogix.com

Use the subject:

Community Guidelines Appeal

Provide a concise explanation of why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

16. These Guidelines Will Evolve

RefLogix will continue to develop.

New collaboration or community features may require additional standards.

When these Guidelines materially change, the "Last Updated" date will be revised and additional notice may be provided where appropriate.

17. The Standard

RefLogix exists to help officials manage and build their careers.

Use it in a way that strengthens the profession:

Be professional. Protect people's information. Respect the game.
